The music was sitting on my hard drive for some time, something I'd pick at and re-visit. I had the song "Hand Springs" by the White Stripes on my mind. I like the way Jack White tells a story in the song, and I tried to do something similar here. I was on the road one day for about 4 hours, and I was determined that by the end of the trip I'd have all the lyrics. I succeeded, and it was finished quickly!
